At Lindan House Ltd, we have a highly trained, dedicated team who are on duty 24/7. With being a small home everyone knows everyone and we promote a comfortable homely, family focused environment where residents are encouraged to live their lives as independently as they are able. Our staff are experienced in supporting residents in all aspect of their daily life, from making breakfast to assisting with personal care right through to supporting those who may be struggling with greater complex needs that can develop when living with dementia. We also aim to support the families of our residents by having an open door policy so that visiting hours are not restricted, the manager is always happy to talk families through the processes of living in a care home environment as this can come as a shock and be very distressing. If we can help this process to be less traumatic for everyone involved then the transition is always easier.
Whilst we do not provide Nursing Care, we have a great relationship with the District Nurse team who provide full support and who visit regularly, they are only a phone call away should we need an urgent visit. We also work closely with the Community Psychiatric Nurses and GP’s all of whom stay in regular contact with us, giving full and comprehensive support
